How to Hide or Show the Steps Navigation Panel when in Presentation Mode

Objective:

To be able to hide or show the steps navigation panel when in presentation mode.  The steps navigation panel is the same as the steps editor panel, except it can also be visable when you are in presentation mode.  By default the steps navigation panel is visible if you have the PowerStory steps editor panel open when in edit mode..

How to Hide the Steps Navigation Panel when in presentation mode:

There are two ways to do this.  

  1. The first way is to close the steps editor panel when you are in PowerPoint's normal editing mode.  To do this just click on the "Close Steps Editor" button on the PowerStory Ribbon.
  2. The second way to do this allows you to keep the steps editor panel visible when you are in PowerPoint's normal editing mode.  
    1. Click on the View Options button in the PowerStory ribbon
    2. The system will open up the view options dialog
    3. Ensure the first option is un-checked.
